George Hedley, CSP, LPBC, is a construction business building expert and licensed professional construction business coach. He is an entrepreneur, business owner, and the recognized authority on how to build a growing construction business into a company that consistently produces bottom-line results, construction profits, wealth and equity. He has authored several books including the bestseller: ‘Get Your Business To Work!’ and ‘The Business Success Blueprint For Contractors’.”
He founded & built his major commercial construction and real estate development company from $0 to $50 million dollars in only 7 years! For his accomplishments, George received the nationally recognized “Construction Entrepreneur of the Year” award by Ernst & Young and “Venture” magazine. To date, he has built or developed over 500 projects valued in excess of $500 million dollars, executed over 10,000 subcontracts, and owns & manages over 500,000 square feet of commercial, office & industrial buildings.

George is a graduate of the University of Southern California in Civil-Structural Engineering and has served asPresident of five industry associations.
Today, along with managing his construction company, George owns HARDHAT Presentations presenting keynote business speeches, construction workshops and construction seminars to companies and associations. He also offers ongoing BIZCOACH services to business owners. His ‘Profit-Builder’ Programs include topics on Building Leaders, Building Profits, Building Customers, and Building Wealth. He also holds in-depth 2-day ‘Profit-Builder Circle Academy’ construction Worskhops for business owners. In addition, George has received the prestigious ‘Certified Speaking Professional’ designation from the National Speakers Association earned by only 7% of the members.
George Hedley was the founder and CEO of Hedley Construction & Development, Inc., (Hedley) a major commercial, office and industrial building general contractor, real estate developer, business park owner, real estate investor and property manager headquartered in Newport Beach, California. It has over 35 years of experience building, developing, and managing commercial, industrial, office and residential projects primarily in Southern California and Las Vegas area.
As a general contractor, Hedley has built more than 1,000 projects totaling in excess of 15 million square feet costing over $700 million. Hedley has been listed numerous times in the Top 20 largest general contractors headquartered in Orange County,California. Hedley’s many projects built: commercial and industrial buildings; retail stores and shopping centers; manufacturing facilities and corporate headquarters; office and medical buildings; self-storage mini-warehouses; tenant improvements and renovations; and off-site street improvements and land developments. In addition he has built several custom homes and apartment projects.
As a commercial real estate developer, George Hedley has participated as a principal or manager in the ownership, investment, development, acquisition, planning, design, construction, and management of over 1,500,000 square feet of commercial, industrial and office projects. In addition, George Hedley owns and manages over 500,000 square feet of commercial, retail, office and industrial buildings with over 200 tenants.
George also owns HARDHAT Presentations & Hardhat BIZSCHOOL – Online University For Contractors. He is one of the top professional speakers and authors to the construction industry across the USA. He presents over 50 construction workshops, seminars and construction business speeches annually to industry associations and companies. He has written several books including: “Profit 101 For Contractors”, “Profit-Driven Estimating & Bidding Strategies”, “Field & Project Management Systems That Work”, “General Contracts & Subcontracts 101”, and “Construction Financial Management 101”.
